Mr. Ajayi obtained a B.Sc degree in Sociology from Ondo State University (now Ekiti State University) in 1989. He also obtained an MBA degree (specializing in marketing) from Olabisi Onabanjo University in 2000.

He is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.

Mr. Ajayi did the mandatory one year National Youth Service with the Federal Ministry of Trade and Tourism, Markurdi in 1991. He started his marketing career with A.G.C Nigeria Ltd in Jos in 1992 and later joined Blue Chips Express and became the PortHarcourt pioneer Branch Manager – a position he held until 1996 when he joined Royal Mail as the pioneer Eastern Regional Manager.

Mr. Ajayi left Royal Mail to co – found Summit Parcel Service Ltd and became the Marketing Director in 1998 – a position he held until he pulled out in 2001 and joined an Italian Furniture Company – Home Options in 2002.

Mr. Ajayi being a high flier and a self motivated person pulled out from Home Options in 2005 and joined Exotic Finishes ltd as the pioneer and current Managing Director/CEO.

Mr. Ajayi brings with him a wealth of experience garnered over a period of 30 years. He is widely travelled and has attended several local and international Executive Marketing and Management courses and seminars in reputable Institutes.

Mr. Ajayi is a Board member in several reputable companies and he is happily married.
