Lieutenant Commander Moruf Adesina Ajayi is a native of Abeokuta in Ogun State.

He is a first-class graduate of Economics from the University of Ibadan and has attended various courses in the Nigerian Navy. Some of the courses were basic Logistics Training, Young officer’s course, junior staff Course amongst others.

He got enlisted into the Nigerian Navy on the 27th of June 1986. He is an indefatigable Logistics officer with outstanding performances in most of his assignments and military operations. He had a meritorious 35 years of Service in the Nigerian Navy.

In the course of service to his fatherland, he held various appointments such as Staff Officer Stores Eastern Naval Command Headquarters 2003- 2006, Base Logistics officer Forward Operating Base IGBOKODA 2006- 2009, Drafting Officer Logistics Command Naval Drafting Point Road Apapa 2009, Flag / Security Officer to Vice-admiral Michael Adelanwa retired ( Former Chief of Naval Staff 1975-1980), Base Logistics Officer Forward Operating Base ESCRAVOS 2010- 2012, Base Logistics Officer Nigerian Navy Engineering College SAPELE 2012- 2014, Staff Officer 2 Arms/Ammo Naval Ordnance Depot Kiririkiri 2014- 2016, Deputy Commander Calabar Logistics Depot 2016- 2018, Staff Officer Logistics Naval Dockyard Limited Victoria Island 2018- 2019, Base Logistics Officer Nigerian Navy Secondary School Ogbomoso 2019-2021.

He held the following awards and medals: FSS, PJSC, Golden jubilee medals, Long Service medals, best graduating Officer at Logistics and Finance College.
He was among the first Nigerian Military contingents to Liberia to restore peace (ECOMOG). He is equally a member of so many professional bodies. He is happily married with children.
